Now available, EXlites MSLT Series Solar Mobile Lighting Plants after 3 years of R&D and design enhancement to ensure each plant will perform at its highest peak capability. This knowledge for system design was gained from over 12months full operational trials within many diverse and extreme Australian mining locations from:

  • Rio Tinto's Mining Groups locations in the Pilbara W.A and Gove in the Northern Territory;
  • Goldfields at St Ives in Kalgoorlie Western Australia;
  • BHP Nickel West in Mount Keith Western Australia;
  • Xstrata Rolleston Coal Mine
  • Poitrel Coal Mine in Coppabella Queensland; as examples

With over 29,000klm travelled on some of the harshest roads and trails the Australian outback had to offer, this proved our plants operational capabilities to sustain its daily system integrity, as well our design and engineering quality ensuring EXlites MSLT Series Solar Mobile Lighting Plants offer consistent performance and autonomous operational confidence to our customers.

Each EXlites MSLT Series Solar Mobile Lighting Plant is custom designed to suit location and application environment where it will be in operation, and end user required options, in either a Single or Dual Axle platform to ensure autonomous and trouble free operation.

Programmable Logic Control System:

  • simple touch screen control for solar module location.
  • the PLC stores the pre-programmed monthly peak solar irradiation data for the plants design location, adjusting panel incline to ensure maximum daily system performance.
  • simple trouble shooting design in the event of control module failure with fast module swap over for instant re-activation and override facility.

Solar Powered Air Extractor with .32m3 per minute of air flow starting from the electronic equipment enclosures and battery compartment safely eliminating any minimal battery venting during charging cycle, whilst helping to maintain battery temperature stability increasing battery life.

Solar Modules with 18.6% module efficiency using intrinsically thin layer solar cells made of a thin mono crystalline silicon wafer surrounded by ultra-thin amorphous silicon layers providing industry leading performance that at high temperatures can maintain higher efficiency than a conventional crystalline silicon solar cell.

Solar Module Glass Protection protects the solar module glass from etching and deterioration from air born contaminates (e.g. stops dirt, dust etc from also sticking to glass) that helps to maintain solar module efficiency.
