To achieve over 200lux on the sign face as testing has shown, 1 x EXDC35 luminaire would be required for every 3.25sqm of surface area.
6m x 3m billboard uses 2 x EXDC35 to achieve 200lux
For Illuminating billboards or signs where there is not much other ambient light or competition a different configuration with less luminaire's can be used to illuminate the face adequately.
